The CBSE re-evaluation portal came under a major cyberattack, with malicious actors generating nearly 1.5 million hits in just two minutes in an apparent denial-of-service attempt, according to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).The board also reported more than 100,000 attempts at unauthorised file access during the attack, describing the incident as part of a broader barrage of cyber threats targeting the platform while thousands of students were submitting re-evaluation applications.Despite the attempted disruption, CBSE said the portal remained operational and continued to handle significant traffic throughout the day.
