The trailer of Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon’s upcoming romantic-comedy, Cocktail 2 was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday (June 2, 2026). Directed by Homi Adajania and written by Tarun Jain and Luv Ranjan, the film is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 original starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty.The trailer introduces the central conflict of the film where Kunal (Shahid), Diya (Rashmika) and Ally (Kriti) are three friends, who are journeying around in a picturesque foreign location. Kunal and Diya are shown to be married and love changes the dynamic between the three. There are glimpses of emotional moments as well as some humorous sequences like the one towards the end where Diya and Ally are shouting hysterically at each other. The film promises to be a new age exploration of love and its many versions.The film features music by Pritam and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Luv Ranjan, Pramita R Vijan, Ankur Garg, Cocktail 2 will be released in theatres on June 19. Published - June 02, 2026 04:12 pm IST
