State Tourism and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh will be on a three-day visit to Kerala from June 3 to 5 to take part in the Global Travel Market (GTM) Expo 2026 and receive the “Best Tourism Promotion State” award on behalf of Andhra Pradesh.The award, conferred by GTM, South India’s largest travel and trade expo, scheduled to be held at Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, recognises Andhra Pradesh’s achievements in tourism promotion. Mr. Durgesh will receive the honour on Thursday (June 4, 2026).Describing the recognition as the result of the vision of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Mr. Durgesh credited them with the State’s tourism reforms, including the Tourism Policy 2024-29, industrial status for tourism, digital campaigns and the promotion of “Brand AP”.He expressed confidence that the expo would help attract more tourists and investments to the State.
