Marstek Energy has launched its Venus residential plug-in battery series, comprising the 2 kWh Venus E Mini, 5 kWh Venus E Gen 4.0 and 10 kWh Venus E Max. The new battery familiy is suitable for applications ranging from balcony solar storage to whole-home energy management and backup power.

China-based Marstek Energy has launched a new plug-in battery product line for residential use.

“With the Venus family, Marstek expands plug-in batteries into broader residential energy scenarios, including whole-home backup, intelligent energy management, EV charging integration, and scalable home energy ecosystems, accelerating the transition toward smarter and more sustainable energy living,” the manufacturer said in a statement.

The new product line includes three sytems: Venus E Mini, Venus E Gen 4.0 and Venus E Max. The products target different segments of the residential market, ranging from entry-level balcony solar storage to larger home energy systems with backup power, energy management and electric vehicle charging integration.

The Venus E Mini is described by the company as compact plug-in battery aimed at apartment dwellers and homeowners with limited installation space. The system provides 1.5 kW of bidirectional power and 1.5 kW of backup output, with peak output reaching 1.8 kW.
