Beirut flights remain disrupted despite US President Donald Trump announcing a halt in attacks between Israel and Hezbollah after weeks of fighting.

Escalation continued as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered strikes on Dahieh, a Hezbollah stronghold in Beirut’s southern suburb.

More than 1.2 million people have been displaced since March 2, with over 3,370 killed, according to the Lebanese government.

Multiple arrivals and departures were cancelled, heavily affecting Middle East Airlines and carriers including Emirates, Lufthansa, SunExpress, Condor, Eurowings, Air Algérie and Royal Air Maroc.
