The state civil rights commission has recommended that government agencies requiring English test scores for hiring develop measures to share test scores after a single submission, without requiring applicants to repeatedly register them with each agency, officials said Tuesday.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission issued the recommendation to the Ministry of Personnel Management, the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, and the Financial Supervisory Service so that Test of English for International Communication (Toeic), Test of English as a Foreign Language (Toefl) and Test of English Proficiency developed by Seoul National University (TEPS) scores can be shared among the agencies.

Toeic, Toefl and TEPS are popular English proficiency exams in Korea.
