Koladaisi University, Ibadan, has bagged the National Universities Commission’s full accreditation for health science programmes including Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Public Health, Human Anatomy, and Human Physiology.

The approval was conveyed in a letter addressed to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Adeniyi Olatunbosun (SAN).

A statement issued by the university’s Registrar, Haruna Adetu, said the feat came following the recent accreditation exercise conducted by the NUC across Nigerian universities.

The NUC, in the letter signed by Abraham Chundusu on behalf of the Executive Secretary, stated that the accreditation exercise was conducted in line with the provisions of Section 10(1) of the Education (National Minimum Standards and Establishment of Institutions) Act.

The Commission noted that the programmes earned “Full Accreditation” status, which remains valid for five years.
