Cap Six Poised for Further Growth with Appointment of Eric Javidi as Strategic Advisor

Cap Six, an SEC-registered investment adviser delivering a forward-thinking and cutting-edge approach for actively managed equity portfolios, today announced the appointment of Eric Javidi as a Strategic Advisor. In this role, Mr. Javidi will bring more than 20 years of experience to bear, spanning senior leadership of a multi-billion-dollar institutional investment platform, C-suite roles at public and private companies, investment banking, and wealth management. The addition of Mr. Javidi coincides with Cap Six’s commitment to the next step-change in the growth of its business through the advancement of institutional relationships, product expansion and optimization, distribution capabilities and strategic partnerships.

Mr. Javidi previously served as Managing Partner and Co-Head of Kayne Energy Infrastructure (“KEI”) at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors (“Kayne Anderson”). Kayne Anderson is a leading alternative investment manager with approximately $41 billion in AUM across real estate, credit, infrastructure, and energy. KEI manages a suite of registered and unregistered products focused on listed securities in the energy and power infrastructure sector, including Kayne Anderson Energy Infrastructure Fund (NYSE: KYN). Additionally, Mr. Javidi has served as an independent advisor to some of the world’s largest infrastructure private equity firms. Parallel to his investing career, Mr. Javidi has served as CEO and CFO of multiple public and private companies in the energy sector, stepping in during pivotal inflection points and delivering highly successful outcomes. Earlier in his career, Mr. Javidi was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers / Barclays and UBS, advising on M&A and capital markets transactions across the energy sector. He began his career as a Wealth Management Analyst at Morgan Stanley.
