Anthropic has confidentially filed a draft Form S-1 with the U.S.

Securities and Exchange Commission, giving the artificial intelligence company the option to go public after the SEC completes its review.

Anthropic said it has not yet determined how many shares it would sell or what price it would seek in an offering.

The disclosure was issued under Rule 135 of the Securities Act of 1933.

The company said any offering activity would take place only through the registration process required under federal securities law.
