Laura Woods has reacted with anger after being accused of bias for her work as a presenter for TNT Sports on the Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal20:42, 01 Jun 2026Updated 20:44, 01 Jun 2026Laura Woods has rubbished suggestions that TNT Sports should not have let her host their coverage of the Champions League final because she's an Arsenal fan. Woods anchored the channel's broadcast as Arsenal were beaten on penalties by Paris Saint-Germain following a 1-1 draw over 120 minutes.‌The 38-year-old presenter is a self-confessed Arsenal supporter and has not tried to hide that fact on social media. She worked alongside pundits Martin Keown, Owen Hargreaves and Steven Gerrard in Budapest on Saturday.‌The Gunners were competing in their first Champions League final since facing Barcelona in 2006, with Mikel Arteta's side aiming to win the double following their Premier League triumph. TNT Sports' coverage for their UK audience was focused on Arsenal, as the English team, but many fans did not enjoy the tone.‌An article in the Telegraph said: "Saturday’s broadcast was all Arsenal, all the time, thanks to fan presenter Laura Woods and a pundit roster loaded lopsidedly in favour of the north Londonders at the expense of PSG balance."JOIN US ON FACEBOOK! "We’d never invite him to commentate, he’s not a commentator or a footballer to offer match punditry," Woods wrote in response."Post match we interviewed Luis Enrique, Nasser Al-Khelaifi and a number of PSG players. Gerrard and Hargreaves were also part of the whole show. Honestly this is tiresome."‌Woods will work for ITV Sport at the upcoming World Cup and had another thought for her followers: "Wait until they see how ‘biased’ the World Cup coverage on both ITV and BBC is. Hint. It’ll be mostly English…"Woods will be joined by the likes of Roy Keane, Ian Wright, Gary Neville and Karen Carney as pundits, while Emma Hayes, Patrick Vieira and Ally McCoist will also provide analysis for ITV during the tournament, which kicks off on June 11.TNT Sports' coverage of the Champions League final was watched by around 7 million viewers on Saturday evening, with their audience peaking at around 26.6 per cent of the viewing population.
