RIYADH/PARIS: The Esports Foundation has confirmed Paris Expo Porte de Versailles as the official venue for the Esports World Cup 2026.

The event, described as the world’s largest esports and gaming event, will begin on July 6 and conclude on Aug. 23. The venue, in the heart of the French capital, will host competition arenas, broadcast operations, fan activations and festival experiences throughout.

Home to Paris Games Week since 2010, the TFT (Teamfight Tactics) Open in 2025, and the largest single venue during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles will combine its established gaming heritage with world-class event infrastructure during this summer’s event, organizers said.

More than 2,000 players from over 100 countries, representing more than 200 clubs, will compete for a record-breaking $75 million prize pool in what is described as the industry-leading cross-game club championship at the event.

The overall Esports World Cup will feature seven weeks of competition covering every major genre in competitive gaming, including first-person shooters, strategy games, sports titles, multiplayer online battle arenas, battle royales, fighting games, racing games and chess.
