The former Defence Secretary Sir Liam Fox has told this programme he may have been misled by the Ministry of Defence over the 1994 Chinook crash on the Mull of Kintyre.

He’s calling for a fresh review of the disaster which killed all 29 people on board, including 25 of the UK’s most senior Northern Ireland intelligence personnel.

RAF commanders wrongly blamed the pilots, but that was overturned in 2011 by an inquiry ordered by Sir Liam.

32 years on, he tells this programme that new evidence raises “deep concerns.”
