When 24-year-old Jaiyana is faced with the taunt “go back where you come from”, she has an answer: “Go back where?”
She grew up in a small former mining village in south Devon, with a Moroccan father and an English mother.
Wearing a hijab always made her stand out, but now Jaiyana is using photography to take a stand against prejudice.
One photo, titled “Go back to where?” has become one of this year’s Portrait of Britain winners.
