MANILA, Philippines — Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said he had been given the dirty finger and was cursed at by a daughter of Sen. Jinggoy Estrada as authorities moved to arrest the latter on Monday.
“There was a slight altercation between me and the daughter,” Remulla told reporters in Camp Crame after Estrada was processed at the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) headquarters there.

“She gave me the dirty finger and cursed at me. I said, ‘It’s okay. I understand you’re emotional’… It was nothing personal. Everyone became emotional,” Remulla added in a mix of English and Filipino.
