Chelsea legend John Terry has offered words of encouragement to Arsenal defender Gabriel after the Brazilian’s missed penalty proved decisive in the Gunners’ UEFA Champions League final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
Gabriel, who delivered one of the standout defensive performances of the final in Budapest, saw his spot-kick saved as Arsenal lost on penalties after pushing the reigning European champions all the way.
The defeat denied Mikel Arteta’s side a historic double just days after they secured their first Premier League title in 22 years.
