Baskin-Robbins is introducing Fútbol Fireworks as its June flavor of the month, a limited-edition offering the company says draws on the excitement of sports fandom and the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Two ingredients new to the chain's lineup anchor the flavor: a sweet cream soda ice cream and a cherry sherbet. Blue raspberry-flavored swirls and blue raspberry and green apple-flavored popping candy round out the combination, the company said.
Customers can order the flavor in a cup, a cone, or as a milkshake, according to Allrecipes. The flavor is available starting June 1 for a limited time.
The release touches on several food trends at once. Allrecipes noted that both ingredients connect to current market trends, with dirty soda's mainstream momentum making cream soda a logical choice and cherry riding a wave of popularity that has touched everything from prebiotic sodas to baked beans. The interactive texture of the popping candy, along with the tart blue raspberry swirls, speaks to growing appetite for products that deliver a sensory experience beyond taste alone, the outlet said.
