Godrej Properties Ltd has acquired a 23.2-acre land parcel in Greater Noida through auction for over Rs 500 crore to develop a housing project and aims to generate Rs 7,000 crore in revenue from the upcoming asset.In 2025-26, Godrej Properties acquired 18 land parcels to develop housing projects, which have a combined revenue potential of Rs 42,100 crore, as part of its expansion plan to meet strong consumer demand.In a regulatory filing on Monday, the company informed that it has "won the bid for a 23.2 acres (93,905 square metre) residential land parcel in DMIC integrated township, Greater Noida, through an e-auction".The auction was conducted by DMIC Integrated Industrial Township, Greater Noida Ltd.Godrej Properties will develop a group housing project on the land parcel, "which is expected to offer an estimated revenue potential of over Rs 7,000 crore", the filing said.The company did not disclose the land cost. However, market sources said the bid value is a little over Rs 500 crore.Godrej Properties MD and CEO Gaurav Pandey said, "We have witnessed consistent demand for our existing projects in Noida, and we remain bullish on this market. This will further strengthen our development portfolio in Delhi-NCR and fits well with our strategy of deepening our presence in key micro markets across India's leading cities".Godrej Properties is one of the leading real estate developers in the country. It has delivered nearly 80 million sq ft since 2017-18.The company buys land outright and also partners with landowners to create a land bank for the development of housing projects.Godrej Properties, one of the leading real estate developers in the country, emerged as the biggest listed realty firm in 2023-24 and 2024-25 in terms of sales bookings.The company has set a target of achieving Rs 39,000 crore sales bookings or pre-sales during this fiscal against a record Rs 34,171 crore in 2025-26.On other key metrics, Godrej Properties is targeting to collect Rs 24,000 crore from customers during this fiscal compared to Rs 19,965 crore in 2025-26.During the full 2025-26 fiscal, the company's net profit grew to Rs 1,850.20 crore from Rs 1,399.89 crore in the preceding year.Its total income rose to Rs 8,410.88 crore in the last fiscal from Rs 6,967.05 crore during 2024-25.
