You can sell unwanted goods taking up space at home and even pick up a few bargains along the way. It's also perfect if you enjoy the thrill of a treasure hunt where you can stumble on rare, vintage or antique gems. Now one bargain hunter recently visited her local car boot sale where she managed to nab a number of decent items, from a water gun to a lovely vase. Becky Chorlton loves finding a good second-hand item as she spends a lot of her time thrift shopping.Known as Becky's Bazaar, she told her nearly 490,000 TikTok followers she was pleased with her haul – but a prom dress she purchased for £50 ended up being a "big mistake".She said in a clip: "Going to the car boot without any water on the hottest day of the year was not my smartest decision. But I did find some insane bargains so maybe it was worth the heat stroke."Content cannot be displayed without consentDuring the video, Becky can be seen eyeing up some toys, more specifically water guns, which she had to get her hands on.She added: "I clearly had my priorities in order because my first purchases were stuff for a water fight and stay tuned until the end because I ambushed my boyfriend with these when he got home from work."Becky also picked up a thick jumper which caused her to have a heat stroke after trying it on in the 30C heat. Next she spent some time at a cheap stall where she explained: "This was pretty cool, you pay £1, pick out a number and win a prize every time."I got these England fan hands, fingers crossed I'll be waving these around a lot during the World Cup this month. I loved this vase for £4, it was ridiculously heavy to lug around in this heat though."My life hack for today is always pick up magazines cheap when you see them, these were 50p and an absolute life-saver when the nieces and nephews come over and the only toys we have are cat toys."Before she continued her shopping experience, Becky delivered a coffee to her favourite store holder Dennis. But it was straight after this when she stumbled on a "big mistake" – a prom dress which cost her £50.She detailed: "I ended up buying a prom dress for £50, don't ask me why. The heat had definitely got to my head at this point.
