Olam Agri Nigeria marked Africa Day on May 25 with staff cultural displays at its Lagos headquarters, reaffirming the agribusiness’s commitment to Africa’s heritage and diversity.
Employees clad in traditional attire participated in dance, food and dress competitions showcasing ethnic groups from across Nigeria and the continent.
The event, themed on unity and shared identity, was described by management as more than ceremonial.
“Africa’s cultural diversity represents strength rather than division,” said Anil Nair, country head and managing director, adding that inclusion and mutual respect are embedded in the company’s operations.
Over the years, Olam Agri has expanded its operations across several countries and continents, becoming a major player in the agriculture value chains globally.
