The fire has since been contained, and seven workers were taken to a hospital affiliated with the company after complaining of irritation to the eyes, the report added.

Per the Yonhap report, the incident began at 10.32am local time in a sixth-floor gas room at the company's Cheongju 4 Campus. Sprinklers immediately extinguished the fire, the report said, but hydrogen fluoride spread inside the enclosed room.
