Despite losing his WBC Bridgerweight title to Ryad Merhy on his home turf in Belgium on Saturday, Kevin Lerena did not shy away from his defeat.
It was a rematch between the fighters, which Lerena won in Johannesburg back in 2023.
Lerena went 12 rounds with the challenger, and the judges scored the fight 116-112, 117-111, and 115-113 in favour of Merhy.
Looking battered and bruised, Lerena shared an up-close and personal video on Facebook, staring into a mirror to give his post-fight thoughts.
