The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced that the existing mAadhaar app will be discontinued soon. The UIDAI is replacing the older application with a redesigned Aadhaar platform that focuses heavily on selective data sharing and stronger authentication method. The UIDAI has been encouraging citizens to switch to the newly launched Aadhaar app, now available on the App Store for iPhone users and the Google Play Store for Android devices.
