May 31 (UPI) -- Authorities in Hawaii have charged a 36-year-old with murder after three seniors were killed on the Big Island.
Jacob Daniel Baker of Pahoa has been charged with four counts of murder, one count in the first degree and three in the second, the Hawaii Police Department said in a statement Saturday.
Authorities said the second-degree charges are related to the three homicide victims while the first-degree charge is for "intentionally or knowingly killing two or more people."
He faces additional related charges of first-degree burglary as well as several auto theft- and property damage-related charges.
