Cabinet Secretary for Interior Kipchumba Murkomen has called on school managements to install CCTV cameras and manned control rooms so as to avert disasters.
Mr Murkomen said had such a setup and other safety measures been in place at Utumishi Girls' Senior School, the 16 students would not have lost their lives in the inferno where 79 others were injured.
