The wettest conditions are expected in the northwest, with the driest in the southeast.Maps from WXCharts, which uses MetDesk data, show that at 6pm on Saturday, June 13, much of the country is set for warm, if not mild, conditions. Southern England, the Midlands and Wales will see highs in the low 20s, with the exception of some coastal areas in the southwest, which will remain in the late teens.London is expected to hit 26C, with nearby counties including Kent, Surrey and Berkshire also likely to reach between 24 and 25C. Further north, temperatures will generally hover in the late teens. There will be moderate to fresh winds, lighter in the north, and temperatures are expected to be near normal for the time of year.In its outlook for Tuesday (June 2) to Thursday (June 4), it says the weather will remain unsettled, with spells of rain, showers and thunderstorms. Hail is likely in any thundery outbreaks, and temperatures are set to be much cooler than last weeks.Article continues belowIn its long-range forecast for Friday (June 5) to Sunday (June 14) the Met Office says: "Changeable early in this period with Atlantic frontal systems moving across the UK. These will bring showers or longer spells of rain at times, with wettest conditions in the northwest, driest in the southeast. Strong winds may affect parts of the UK at times, especially the northwest."Later in the period, higher pressure and drier weather may begin to become more prevalent, especially in the south.
