I’m not very impressed with Paul Goldsmith’s social empathy skills. When commenting on Dame Lynda Topp’s criticism of the level of support for Kiwi artists, Goldsmith, the Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage, brushed it off with “the same old cliche” and said of her:
