The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast in 21 Telangana districts for Monday, June 1.According to IMDs latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.Meanwhile, maximum temperatures continued to ease across Telangana on May 30, with no location in the State recording temperatures above 46℃. According to data from the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), only four locations registered maximum temperatures exceeding 45℃.Bellampally in Mancherial was the hottest location in the State, recording a maximum temperature of 45.4℃. This was followed by 45.3℃ in Anthergoan (Peddapalli), 45.2℃ in Mangapet (Mulugu), Mamda (Nirmal) and 45℃ in Sirpur (Kumaram Bheem Asifabad).The districts which recorded temperatures between 44℃ and 45℃ are 44.8℃ in Kothapallygori (Jayashankar Bhupalpally), 44.6℃ in Dharmapuri (Jagtial), 44.4℃ in Parvathagiri (Warangal), 44.3℃ in Inavole (Hanumakonda), 44.1℃ in Thirumalagiri (Suryapet), and 44℃ in Thorrur (Mahabubabad) and Bodhan (Nizamabad).In urban locations, Musheerabad in Hyderabad recorded 41.6℃ followed by 40.8℃ in Nizampet (Sangareddy) and 40.5℃ in Alwal (Medchal Malkajgiri).
