There were 302 combat engagements between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian troops over the past day, May 30. Ukrainian defenders repelled 46 enemy assaults each in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform, in its situation update as of 8:00 on Sunday, May 31.
According to updated information, the enemy carried out 81 airstrikes, dropping 270 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used 9,584 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,066 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 38 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck an enemy command post, one artillery system, three UAV control points, and two other important Russian targets.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, there were five clashes. The enemy carried out two airstrikes using six guided bombs, and conducted 65 shelling attacks, including two from MLRS.
