Atlético Madrid are prepared to listen to offers for Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman just months after signing him from Atalanta in one of the winter window’s most significant deals, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
According to Fotospor, reports from Spain and Turkey indicate the club could sanction his departure for around €60m this summer.
The 28-year-old joined Diego Simeone’s side in February in a transfer worth approximately €35m plus add-ons, signing a contract until 2030.
Despite contributing four La Liga goals alongside strikes in the Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League, Lookman has reportedly struggled to adapt to Atlético’s demanding defensive structure, and Simeone is said to have backed the club’s decision to explore offers as part of a broader squad rebuild.
The development is expected to attract immediate attention from several Premier League clubs. Arsenal, where manager Mikel Arteta is believed to admire Lookman’s versatility across the attacking line, are among those monitoring developments.
