‘Stunned’: Half of older adults with metastatic lung cancer receive no systemic treatment

An analysis of more than 250,000 older adults diagnosed with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer showed only about half received systemic treatment.Treatment patterns did not change considerably over the 15-year study period, despite increasing availability of novel therapies shown to extend survival and improve quality of life.
