Olandas į Liverpulį atvyko 2024 m. po sėkmingo etapo Roterdamo „Feyenoord“ klube, kuriame jis laimėjo Nyderlandų „Eredivisie“ lyga bei šalies taurę.
2024–2025 m. sezone A. Slotas atvedė „Liverpool“ į 20-ąjį šalies čempionų titulą, tačiau antrasis sezonas buvo gerokai sunkesnis – surinkta vos 60 taškų ir užimta 5 vieta.
