The White House released the latest medical report for President Donald Trump late Friday, three days after his visit to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center as part of his annual medical checkup. In the three-page report, Dr. Sean Barbabella said Trump is in “excellent health” and has “strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function.” The physician concluded the 79-year-old president is “fully fit” to serve.“His demanding daily schedule, including multiple high-level meetings, public engagements, and regular physical activity, continues to support his overall well-being,” he wrote. “Cognitive and physical performance are excellent.”
Trump visited Walter Reed on Tuesday, marking his third trip to the military hospital in the past 13 months. Though it was for an annual physical examination, Trump described the visit as a “six-month physical.” His last two medical exams occurred in October and April 2025.
After completing the appointment, Trump said, “Everything checked out PERFECTLY,” and returned to the White House.
The president’s health has been in the spotlight ever since former President Joe Biden skipped cognitive testing during his 2024 physical, as questions arose over his mental and physical health.
