The Dutchmen was dismissed by the club on Saturday morning with it officially stated that "the process to appoint a successor is under way".‌Former Bournemouth boss Iraola is the leading candidate to take over at Anfield having overseen his final game in charge of the Cherries, where they secured Europa League football, last weekend.‌It has already been widely-reported that talks between his camp and Liverpool are expected to advance quickly. However, there are a number of other potential options for the club including Stuttgart's Hoeness and Lens' Saga.‌Both coaches have just overseen very successful domestic seasons in Germany and France, respectively.
