Ukrainian forces hit Armavir oil depot in Russia's Krasnodar Krai 500 km away from the border – Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said the defence forces hit the Armavir oil depot in Russia's Krasnodar Krai, 500 km away from the Ukrainian border, as part of Ukraine's plan of "long-range sanctions".

Quote: "Our new long-range sanctions – and this is 500 kilometres from our state border. We are rightfully bringing the war back to where it came from. Russia could have ended its aggression long ago but instead chose to prolong and continue it. So another facility of Russia's oil industry has been reached – Armavir, Krasnodar Krai."

Details: Zelenskyy thanked the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) personnel for carrying out the operation.
