A United Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing after an unruly passenger allegedly tried to storm the cockpit. United UA2005 departed Chicago and was half way into its journey to Minneapolis on Friday night when it diverted to Dane County Regional Airport in Madison, Wisconsin. The emergency landing came after an individual on board became disruptive, according to airline officials. Several passengers said on social media that the as-yet unidentified hostile flier was ranting in Russian during the mid-flight struggle. An image taken on board showed a man in a blue shirt being escorted off the aircraft by several police officers. Details of the incident have not been made clear by authorities. In a statement to the Daily Mail, United Airlines said the flight 'landed safely in Madison, Wisconsin to address a security concern with an unruly passenger.''The flight is expected to continue to Minneapolis later on Friday,' the airline said.
