Israeli forces have demolished residential homes in the town of Dibbine in Lebanon’s Marjayoun district, according to reports from Al Jazeera Arabic.
The demolitions came as the Israeli military said it had intercepted a “launch” that crossed into northern Israel from Lebanon. The military did not specify whether the projectile was a rocket or a drone and provided no information about damage or casualties.
Earlier, air raid sirens were activated in several areas of northern Israel.
The Israeli military also said its forces had destroyed a Hezbollah launcher overnight after rockets were fired towards northern Israel. The incidents come amid escalating cross-border hostilities and continued Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon.
