Joel M. Gelfand, MD, MSCE, FAAD, is Chief Medical Editor of Healio Dermatology and the James J. Leyden Professor of Dermatology and Epidemiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also director of the Center for Clinical Sciences in Dermatology and director of the Psoriasis and Phototherapy Treatment Center at Penn Medicine.
