You would think the Democratic Party would be making its pitch to voters on affordability issues or things that affect the everyday lives of Americans. Instead, an increasing number of Democrats have become obsessed with talking about Israel and AIPAC.Michigan’s Democratic candidates for Senate got together for a one-hour debate on Thursday. They decided to spend much of that limited time talking about Israel and AIPAC, with left-wing candidate Abdul el Sayed attacking his Democratic opponents for supposedly courting AIPAC support. AIPAC, an American group, ranked around 74th among domestic lobbyists in 2024, according to HonestReporting. El Sayed, who previously struggled to condemn an attempted attack on a synagogue with preschoolers inside, then downplayed the threat of antisemitism while painting himself as the victim of “Islamophobia.”

Left-wing Democrats are obsessed with Israel, so much so that they talk about it every chance they get. In California’s rural 22nd District, progressive Randy Villegas is trying to sneak into the top two in the state’s open primary against Rep. David Valadao (R) and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee-endorsed Jasmeet Bains. Coming down the stretch, with those electoral stakes, in a district focused on water rights and agriculture, Villegas’s latest political commercials talk about the Israeli billionaires campaigning against him.
