Uganda's health ministry said on Friday that the number of confirmed Ebola cases in the country had risen to nine, with three of the cases being imported from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo).
However, no community transmission has been reported in Uganda, the World Health Organization (WHO) said.
The health ministry last reported on the number of confirmed cases on Wednesday, saying there were seven. But the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday said there were eight confirmed Ebola cases in Uganda.
