A parliamentary committee has approved Sh200 million for the offices of two Cabinet Secretaries, Lee Kinyanjui and Wycliffe Oparanya, after it emerged they had no budget allocations for day-to-day operations
The Departmental Committee on Trade, Industry and Cooperatives has recommended an additional Sh100 million allocation to the State Department for Cooperatives — half of the Sh200 million requested by Co-operatives and MSMEs Development Cabinet Secretary Wycliffe Oparanya for his office operations.
