A missile struck an apartment building in the Lukianivka district of Kyiv on 24 May. Diana and Serhii lived on the eighth floor of the damaged building. The couple managed to escape, but their rented flat was completely destroyed and most of their belongings were lost.

Details: Diana, 24, said that on the night of the attack, her mother called and urged her to go to a shelter because of the threat of a Russian strike.
The couple took their savings and went to a shelter. However, because of the heat and overcrowding, Diana and Serhii decided to return to their flat.
