Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan has underscored that faith, love, and tolerance are the qualities that make us human.He was inaugurating the third annual convention of the inter-religious organisation ‘Snehagamam,’ organised by the Ranni-Nilackal diocese of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Chruch to commemorate the golden jubilee of priesthood of Joseph Mar Barnabas Suffragan Metropolitan and Isaac Mar Philoxenos Episcopa here on Friday.Cardinal Baselios Cleemis, Major Archbishop of the Syro Malankara Catholic Church; Abddusamad Samadani, MP; V.P. Suhaib Maulavi, Palayam Imam; Swami Satswarupananda Saraswati of Umbarnad Siddhashramam; and Fr. Bobby Jose Katikkad, writer and orator, were the main dignitaries at the event moderated by writer Mothy Varkey. Legislative Assembly Speaker Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan was present.The first two gatherings of ‘Snehagamam’ held earlier focused on themes of ‘neighbourhood and reconciliation’, while the third convention focused on the theme of ‘peacemakers’.
