Senior military officers, district administration officials, civilians, and NCC cadets paid respects to Kargil war hero Major M. Saravanan on the occasion of his 27th death anniversary here on Friday.Wreaths were placed at the Major Saravanan Memorial established at St. John Vestry School roundabout in the city. Among those who paid their respects to Major Saravanan were L. Madhubalan, Commissioner of Tiruchi Corporation, Salai Dhavavalan, Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchi, family members of Major Saravanan, and Colonel C.K.
