DJ Fresh is returning to mainstream radio, as he will be joining Kaya959
Kaya959 has had a busy couple of days following the announcement that Sizwe Dhlomo has left the radio station.
The commercial radio station has announced that the legendary Thato Sikwane, better known as DJ Fresh, will join the station as of July 1st, replacing Dhlomo.
DJ Fresh brings his longtime on-air collaborator and trusted producer, Thato Mataboge. With a career spanning more than three decades, DJ Fresh has shaped the sound of breakfast and drive-time radio across stations including YFM, 5FM, and Metro FM, while building an extraordinary profile as a DJ, music producer, entrepreneur, and live performer.
Since being off mainstream radio, he has launched a podcast, "WAW (What A Week)" and launched a community radio station 93.8FM with Unathi Nkayi.
