Tamil Nadu reshuffles over 30 IAS officers, Pooja Kulkarni named Prohibition and Excise Commissioner

The Tamil Nadu government on Friday announced a major reshuffle of over 30 several IAS officers, issuing transfer and posting orders across departments and State-run corporations.Among the key appointments, Pooja Kulkarni, CEO, Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Board is posted as Commissioner, Prohibition and Excise.MS Prasath, Collector, Kallakurichi District, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Finance Department.Mangat Ram Sharma has been posted to the Tamil Nadu Power Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd , while J Jayakanthan has been placed at the disposal of Poompuhar Shipping Corporation Ltd .E Saravanavelraj has been appointed to Tamil Nadu Minerals Ltd , and PN Sridhar to the Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation.The government also posted SP Karthikaa to the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority and Simranjeet Singh Kahlon to the Chennai Rivers Restoration Trust.Published on May 29, 2026
