More than 30 000 supporters are expected to flock to DHL Stadium Saturday when the Stormers host Cardiff in what could be their final home game of the United Rugby Championship (URC) season.

There is, of course, still an outside chance that the Cape side could host a semi-final in two weeks’ time, but they must first beat their Welsh opposition before hoping for a Lions miracle against Leinster on Saturday evening.

However, the inaugural URC winners are relishing the prospect of playing in front of The Faithful, as their supporters are affectionately known, and producing the kind of performance that will be spoken about for some time. They have delivered mixed performances throughout the season, but are determined to sign off with a bang should this prove to be the final home match of the campaign.
