It was this year’s awards-season darling, scooping wins at every major show, including Hollywood’s biggest prize, Best Picture, at the 2026 Oscars. From director Paul Thomas Anderson, this action-thriller epic is worthy of all the hype. It combines masterful filmmaking, pure entertainment, and a star-studded cast, all locked in and delivering peak performances.In “One Battle After Another,” Leonardo DiCaprio plays Bob Ferguson, a former revolutionary now in hiding with his precocious daughter, Willa (Chase Infiniti). Living off the grid and deeply paranoid, Bob’s worst fear comes true when Willa goes missing, and his past catches up with him. Scrambling to locate his daughter, he must also contend with a vengeful adversary, Colonel Lockjaw (Sean Penn). The movie also packs excellent turns from Benicio del Toro and Regina Hall.
