Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday inaugurated the Border Security Force’s (BSF) border outpost G-7 in Gujarat’s Bhuj and interacted with personnel deployed along the India-Pakistan border.The visit comes days after Shah praised the BSF for its role during Operation Sindoor, saying the force not only guarded the border firmly but also boosted the morale of people living in frontier districts.Shah has also recently stressed the need for stronger border infrastructure, enhanced surveillance and closer coordination among security agencies to tackle infiltration, smuggling and drone-based narcotics trafficking along the international border.
