Real estate developer LVL Energy has announced plans to build a 50MW data center and a 200MW battery energy storage system (BESS) outside Dąbrowa Górnicza in southern Poland.
The complex in the country’s Silesian Voivodship will be built on a 3.92-hectare (9.6-acre) plot in the Tucznawa investment zone outside the city, with the total cost of the project estimated at PLN 1.87 billion ($514m).

“This is one of the most strategic investments in the Katowice Special Economic Zone, not only for Dąbrowa Górnicza but for the entire region,” said Dąbrowa Górnicza’s vice-mayor, Ewa Fudali-Bondel, in a statement. “The project is not only innovative but also aligns with efforts to support energy and digital transformation. It is the development of modern digital and energy infrastructure, fostering cooperation between business, technology, and government.”
