The Gemini app is getting an upgrade that changes how teams collaborate because Google introduced the ability to share chats, canvases, and generated media from the Gemini app securely via Google Drive.
Google said that this new workspace sharing feature is "powered by the same underlying technology as Google Drive" and uses the exact same interface you already use for Docs and Sheets. Users share these conversations as snapshots up to that point. If a recipient continues the chat, those new changes do not alter the owner's original thread.
